    1) Healthy Prepared Craft Meals delivered to your door for each meal of the weekday.

    2) A marketplace connecting various Health Professionals with Users.

    3) A Matrix for various health related goods & services.

  • How Does Green Pill Health Ensure the Safety & Security Of Users?

    User safety and security is our highest priority at Green Pill Health. That is why we have taken a number of measures to protect all Users on the Platform.

    The identification and qualifications of all Medical Practitioners are verified against the HPCSA Register.

    Any Health Professional that is found to have a criminal record, or that is found to be operating their practice unlawfully, will be immediately removed from the platform pending further investigation.

  • What Sets Green Pill Health Apart From Conventional Health Insurance Companies & Medical Aid Schemes.

    Green Pill Health is not a health insurer or a medical aid scheme. Rather, we operate at the entry point of healthcare. We are a Healthtech platform designed to improve the ease and accessibility to various health related goods and services for all.

    Unlike traditional medical aid schemes, nobody is ‘locked out’ from accessing our network of vetted and highly qualified providers. Neither are you ‘locked in’ to a long-term policy that you barely use. Our aim is to democratise health so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve peak physical and mental wellbeing.

  • How Can Green Pill Health Help Me Adopt A Health Lifestyle?

    The Green Pill Health platform makes it simple and easy for clients to adopt a healthy lifestyle by improving ease and accessibility to various health goods and services through our ecosystem.

    We enable commerce across various sectors of the health and wellness industry in a seamless and convenient manner.

  • Are The Health Professionals On Green Pill Certified & Qualified?

    Yes. All Health Professionals on the Platform must go through a strict background vetting process before being admitted onto the Platform.

    All Health Professionals are required to submit a certified copy of their highest level of qualification pertaining to their specific profession. All qualifications are verified against SAHPRA’s database, or against any other relevant regulatory body.

  • How Does Green Pill Health Maintain A High Quality Of Health Professionals Throughout The Platform?

    All Health Professionals are subject to a 5-star rating system. Users can rate their experience of each session from 1-5 through the App. Any Health Professional with an average rating of less than 3.00 will be immediately removed from the platform pending further investigation.

    Health Professionals may also rate Users to prevent any malicious abuse of the platform. Any Users found to be in contravention of our basic terms of service will be immediately banned from the platform pending further investigation.

  • How Does Green Pill Health Verify The Identity Of Health Professionals?

    All Health Professionals are required to upload a number of images to their profiles: 1 portrait image of themselves, and at least 2 images of their facilities. At any time, our Moderators may perform an in-person visit and assessment of a Health Professional’s facilities. Any Health Professional who does not match up to our basic guideline standards around health and safety will be immediately removed from the platform pending further investigation.

  • How Can I Book A Session With A Health Professional Through The Website?

    To book a session with one of our qualified Health Professionals, simply visit our Health Professionals page (www.greenpill.co.za/professionals) and browse through our selection of Featured Health Professionals. Our Featured Health Professionals represent our highest rated and top Health Professionals.

    Once you have identified your preferred Health Professional, select their name from the tab above the drop-downs to view their schedule. Select your preferred time slot from their calendar under ‘Bookings’, before returning to the Professional’s page to finalise your booking.

    After clicking ‘Book Now’, your booking will automatically be added to your cart. You can then continue to browse our selection of various goods and services. Just remember to checkout your done when you are done!

  • What Is Your Refunds & Returns Policy?

    At Green Pill Health, we are committed to customer satisfaction and adhere to Section 20 of South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act. Our refunds and returns policy is as follows:

    1. Returns Eligibility: Customers may return goods within 10 business days of purchase if they are defective, unsafe, or not of the expected quality.

    2. Refunds & Replacements: If a product is found to be faulty or does not meet reasonable expectations, customers may choose between a refund, replacement, or repair at no additional cost.

    3. Non-Returnable Items: Certain items such as personalized goods, perishable products, and digital services may not be eligible for returns unless they are defective.

    4. Process for Returns: To initiate a return, customers must provide proof of purchase and notify us at support@greenpill.co.za. Returns must be in their original packaging where applicable.

    5. Refund Timelines: Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.

  • How Are Green Pill Health Professionals Reimbursed For Their Services?

    The Green Pill Health Ubuntu Model operates as follows:

    HCP’s retain 80% of all booking fees through the platform. Green Pill Health retains 10% as the platform, whilst 2% is reserved for transaction fees. The remaining 8% is split (4% - 4%) between the HCP and the User, and is reserved in a personal Neo-Save account which accumulates with each transaction.

    The funds within the Neo-Save account can then be used to order any goods or services within the Green Pill Health ecosystem. All pay-outs are processed on Mondays following your final session. Please allow 2-3 working days for the funds to reflect in your account.

  • How Can I Book A Session With A Health Professional Through The App?

    Once you have completed sign up and created your profile inside the App, you can access all of our various services. Simply swipe left until you get to the Health Professionals tab.

    Scroll through our various Health Professional category until you find your preferred category. Our recommendation algorithm will present you with the best rated Health Professionals that operate within your geographic region. Once you have selected your preferred Health Professional, be sure to proceed to checkout to finalise your booking!

  • What If I Don't Have My Own Facilities As A Health Professional?

    We have a number of Health Professionals across the country within our network. Therefore, depending on your location we will pair you with a practice/facility within your vicinity. As fair compensation, 10% of your take-home fees will be allocated to the owner of the facilities.

  • Does Green Pill Health Cover Medical Malpractice Insurance?

    Green Pill Health covers an apportionment of malpractice insurance depending upon the degree of liability held by the Organisation, the Practitioner/Health Professional, and the Patient/User. The amount of apportionment covered by Green Pill Health will be calculated on a case-by-case basis.

  • What Are The Working Hours For Health Professionals?

    Health Professionals may determine their own operating hours based around their own preferences and availability. However, we do require that Health Professionals make themselves available to Users for a minimum of 20 hours a week (incl. weekends).

  • Is My Personal Health Information Secure With Green Pill Health?

    Yes. Green Pill Health does not capture any personal health information from Users apart from your basic biometric data when creating your profile. This biometric data is encrypted and can only be viewed by you, the User.

    All medical data is exchanged directly with the relevant Health Professional and is protected in accordance with the laws that govern Doctor-Patient privacy.

  • How Do I Register As A Green Pill Health Professional?

    Visit www.greenpill.co.za/registration to register as a Health Professional on the Green Pill Health platform and fill in the registration form. Once you have completed the registration form, our Support team will be in contact with you regarding any further information that must be provided.

    Once the Platform Moderation team is satisfied with all the requested information, you will be provided with a link to the Health Professionals App. There, you can update your calendar and schedule, as well as communicate directly and securely with Clients.

  • Are Employees Granted An Ownership Stake In Green Pill Health?

    Yes, they are. 10% of Green Pill Health shares are reserved for an Employee Options Pool.

    All subsequent Executives will be granted a minimum of 0.1% equity upon signing with the Executive team.

    All members of the Executive Management team will be granted a minimum of 0.025% equity upon signing.

    All members of the Non-Executive Management team will be granted a minimum of 0.01% equity upon signing.

    This agreement will stand until all outstanding shares within the Employee Options Pool have been allocated.

    Employees may offer to sell their vested shares to Green Pill Health at a prior agreed upon market value, subject to the Organisation's going concern.

    All issued shares are subject to a 5 year vesting period as outlined in the Shareholder’s Agreement.

    Green Pill Health reserves the right to buy back any vested shares from any departing Employee at market value at the time of the Employee’s departure.

  • Are Health Professionals Granted An Ownership Stake In Green Pill Health?

    Yes, but only Featured Health Professionals. 10% of Green Pill Health shares are reserved for a Featured Health Professionals Options Pool.

    All Featured Health Professionals will be awarded 0.01% equity upon appointment.

    This agreement will stand until all outstanding shares within the Featured Health Professionals Options Pool [10%] have been allocated.

    Featured Health Professionals may offer to sell their vested shares to Green Pill Health at a prior agreed upon market value, subject to the Organisation's going concern.

    All issued shares are subject to a 5 year vesting period as outlined in the Shareholder’s Agreement.

    Green Pill Health reserves the right to buy back any vested shares from any departing Health Professional at market value at the time of the Health Professional’s departure.

  • How Does Green Pill Health Account For Inflation?

    The cost of all goods and services will rise by a minimum of 4% annually to account for broad based medical price inflation.

    The funds within the Neo-Save account accrue an estimated average interest of 8% annually, as a portion of those funds [20%] is invested in new technologies and capabilities. The remaining 80% is protected from speculation and/or broader market forces.

  • How Does Your Craft Meal Model Work?

    We deliver a wide variety of healthy craft meals to your door every Sunday in one simple and convenient eco-friendly Kart. Your Kart contains 10 Craft Meals that were prepared the day prior; 2 per weekday [Monday-Friday].

    All you have to do is heat the meals in the oven/microwave/air-fryer for 4-8 minutes and enjoy. Our meals are specifically designed to keep you meet your personal nutritional goals.

  • What Is Our Meal Kit Model?

    Are you trying to lose weight and/or just stay health? Are you tired of getting printouts from ‘health specialists’? Well, no more generic 2-page meal plan and grocery list! We make healthy eating as convenient and delicious as possible. Our packages range from one person, to couples, to a family of 4. Each pack is specifically designed to ensure that you get the maximum health benefits whilst still enjoying delicious meals. Thus, each meal is specifically chosen to ensure that you are receiving the correct balance of macro and micro nutrients and at the right time of the day.

  • How Do We Personalise Your Menus/Karts?

    During week 1 and 2, the goal is to switch your metabolism over into a state of nutritional ketosis in a controlled and healthy manner. This means you are burning fat, and not glucose, as your primary fuel source. If not managed correctly, this can lead to a slight nutrient imbalance resulting in what is often referred to as the 'keto flu'. Thus, our meals include a wide variety of fresh ingredients that ensure that your body is receiving the correct vitamins and minerals and at the right time of the day.

    Once you have completed payment, you will be redirected to our ‘Form’ page. Here you will be asked about any specific food restrictions or intolerance you might have (lactose-intolerance, peanut allergy, gluten-intolerance…). Using the data provided, we will then make the necessary adjustments to your Kart.

  • I Work During The Week. I Can’t Cook Lunch. What Then?

    Our meals are now pre-cooked which means you can take them anywhere with you. When you are ready to enjoy your meal, all you have to do is place it in the oven/microwave for a few minutes and enjoy. Please note that our silver tray contains are not compatible for all microwaves. Thus, we advise that you remove the meals from the trays before placing them in the microwave.

  • How Do You Calculate My Daily Caloric Requirements?

    Once you have completed payment, you will be asked to complete a brief question form. This is to gather information like height, weight, daily physical activity levels, food intolerance’s and preferences and so on.. This will allow us to personalise your Kart from the outset in terms of calories required as well as towards specific taste preferences.

  • How Do I Rate The Meals?

    You will soon be able to rate each meal from 1-5 through the Keto Kart App. Whilst we’re certain you’ll love our painstakingly crafted dishes, not everything is for everyone. Thus, the more highly you rate a specific meal, the more frequently you will see it in your Kart along with similar recipes; and the lower you rate the meal, the less frequently you will see it. Simple as that.

  • How Is My Food Packaged?

    All meals are prepared fresh during the week and stored in regulated freezers. The meals are then delivered in temperature controlled vehicles so as to preserve their freshness.

  • What Ingredients Must I Have?

    None. Our meals are fully cooked by our resident Chef and spiced to perfection. However, if you wish to add a bit more flavour to your dishes in a keto-friendly manner, then you are more than welcome to do so.

  • Where Is My Food Coming From?

    We work in partnership with a number of local suppliers who’s sole task is to source the best local ingredients that are free from harmful pesticides and other unhealthy endocrine disruptors. All our fresh produce is locally sourced. That means your food is taken fresh from the farm and onto your plate in no time.

  • How Do I Get To See My Menu

    You can view our Menu by clicking ‘Menu’ at the top of the page. Our menu is preset to ensure the correct micronutrient balance is being obtained. Your recipe Kards will be emailed to you every Sunday after delivery. If you have any specific food restrictions/allergies, you can contact ‘Support’ or simply respond so to the relevant questions on our post-purchase Form.

  • How Long Does It Take To Become Keto Adapted?

    This differs from person to person. For the majority of people it can take about 24 hours to enter ketosis and between 2-7 days to become fully keto adapted. However, if it is your first time being in ketosis, it can sometimes take up to 2 weeks to become fully adapted. If this is you, then don’t despair. The longer it takes for you to enter ketosis, the more dramatic your weight-loss results usually are as your body is finally allowed to run on the fuels it was designed for.

  • Is Keto Only For People Who Want To Lose Weight?

    One of the most amazing things people quickly realize when they first become keto-adapted is that weight-loss is probably one of the smallest benefits of keto. Almost everyone experiences a noticeable boost in energy which lasts throughout the day as you’re no longer on this glucose roller coaster. It’s the reason why keto is simple to adopt as a lifestyle once you get going.

    Additionally, for those with metabolic issues, keto is an excellent strategy to control and regulate your blood glucose levels as well as your insulin levels. Keto heavily reduces your bodies dependence on insulin which has proven, over the long term, to restore insulin sensitivity for persons dealing with insulin resistance.   • Can I Still Drink Alcohol On Keto?

    The important thing to understand is that your diet is not all or nothing. Don’t think of it as things that you can and cannot do, but rather things that will slightly delay your progress. A few glasses of alcohol will knock you out of ketosis for 24-48 hours, depending on how much you drink and also long you have been in ketosis, as your liver works to process the alcohol at the expense of producing ketones. This means that for this period your body will not be fat-burning.

    With that said, there are some alcohols that are less taxing on the liver than others. These are usually the pure spirits as well as dry, unsweetened wines. Thus, if you’re going to have a few drinks, and depending on how brave you are feeling, try stick to these unflavoured and unsweetened options:

    Vodka, Rum, Gin, Tequila, Whiskey, Champagne, Dry Red Wine & Dry White Wine.

  • Should I Be Taking Supplements On Keto?

    We work tirelessly to ensure that your personalized Kart contains all the essential daily vitamins and minerals necessary in a healthy diet. Thus, it is not necessary for you to be consuming expensive pills that have suspect effects and benefits. Our bodies are much more adept at breaking down and absorbing nutrients consumed from real foods and so your food should always be the number 1 source of all essential minerals and vitamins. However, if you have specific deficiencies, then please observe the advice of your medical practitioner.

  • What Do You Eat On The Keto Diet?

    The Keto diet involves reducing your carbohydrate intake and replacing them with delicious and healthy fats. This includes foods like chicken, cream, nuts, bacon, cheese, eggs and plenty more. However, in order to be truly Ketogenic, it is important to include high-fibre foods with plenty of nutritional value like spinach, mushrooms, cauliflower, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and broccoli.   • How Much Can You Eat On Keto?

    The Keto diet is less concerned by how much you eat than about what you eat. As long as you are eating the right stuff, then the quantity will take of itself. As our body’s sugar needs are replaced by ketone bodies, our glucose levels become more consistent and our cravings disappear quickly over time.

    With that being said, the average woman needs 2000Kcal per day whilst the average man needs 2500Kcal/d.

  • How Long Does It Take To See Results On Keto?

    About 2-4 weeks but it depends. It depends on how long it takes your specific body type to become fat-adapted (Burning fat as your primary fuel source). If your body is not used to being in Ketosis, it can take up to 2 weeks. But for most, it can take jut 3-5 days. In the early stages, you will lose a lot of water mass but from then onwards, expect to lose 1-2kg’s a week.
